Respect Life

We would like to welcome you to the Respect Life Ministry at St. Jude Catholic Church. We are a group of people of all different ages, backgrounds and professions and talents who share the common goal of promoting the culture of life set forth by the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

We are committed to working together as part of the Body of Christ to oppose those aspects of society that legally permit one to take the life of another whether it is through abortion, capital punishment or euthanasia. We strive to serve as a light to the rest of the community through prayer and education.

We also offer help to women in crisis pregnancies and healing to women who have been hurt through abortion with a counseling program called Project Rachel. Project Rachel teaches women that through God's mercy they can be restored and receive forgiveness.

We also provide instruction for Natual Family Planning, a safe and natural way to plan children that has no harmful side effects; and, more importantly, cooperates with God's plan for procreation.

Please feel free to call with any questions regarding the ministry. We invite you to join us as we need the special talents you have to offer!
