our mission

St. Jude Parish is a Catholic Community of God’s People of the Diocese of Palm Beach located in Boca Raton, Florida, founded in June, 1979. We are a people of diverse backgrounds and ethnic origins united by God, formed by the Gospels, strengthened by the Sacraments and the teachings of the Catholic Church.

We seek to deepen our personal union with Jesus Christ and to grow as a faith community. We seek to enrich our heritage of care and concern for all by sharing God’s love and healing with the world around us.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, we pledge ourselves to pursue this mission by participation in the liturgical, educational, and social ministries of the Church. We recognize that to be effective, these ministries require spiritual, physical, and financial resources, and we accept our responsibility as Christian Stewards to provide these resources.

A few thoughts from our Parishioners about St. Jude Catholic Church in Boca Raton, FL

"St. Jude holds a special place in our hearts. We met in the Gathering Place in the fall of 2011 and were married in the church in 2014. We have a deep appreciation for the clergy, the music ministry, and the strong sense of parish community."

Michael & Luisa Indiviglio

My husband and I attended three catholic churches in two years before visiting Saint Jude Catholic Church. The very first Sunday we attended mass, we were greeted by an usher who offered us to carry the host to the altar. We felt blessed and very humbled to do. As we carried the host and precious blood toward the priest, we both felt we have found our church. St Jude has been home to our family for the past 12 years. Both our daughters attend St Jude School and have been members of the youth choir for several years. They love volunteering and spending time on the church and school grounds. My wife and I are also members of various groups at the church. We have found St Jude to be a warm and welcoming community where the people are very passionate about their faith. This church has helped us develop as a couple and grow in God.

St. Jude has been our parish since it's inception. We have been active supporters and volunteers with various ministries, including the Hunger Program as well as being an usher for Mass. We feel St. Jude is a wonderful, warm and inviting parish that we are proud to call our home.
